Debbie Boots,
LMT, NCTMB, MLD-C

Borealis Therapy founder Deb Boots practices deep tissue, myofascial release, sports, orthopedic and oncology massage. She is nationally certified with NCBTMB and is a member of Society for Oncology Massage. She also holds a degree in finance from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Having started practicing in 1993, she has over 25 years experience and is constantly looking for new research and techniques to best support her clients' health and well being. She is also an avid mountain biker, runner, tennis player and triathlete.
Wendy McKinnon, LMT, NCTMB

Wendy specializes in deep tissue and trigger point massage. She is nationally certified with NCBTMB and holds a degree in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. Wendy is a graduate of The Alaska Learning Institute and continues to educate herself on various new massage techniques that may benefit her clients. She enjoys working with clients to find the root of problems causing discomfort...and helping them find permanent or long-term relief. She is also an active athlete, animal lover and outdoor enthusiast.
Ronata Eggert,
Certified Rolfer™

Ronata is a certified Rolfer and practices structural integration, myofascial release and energy work. She has practiced in both the U.S. and Australia and is a 2004 graduate of The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration. She cares deeply about helping her clients be as functional and pain-free as possible in their work and play...and brings a wealth of experience and good humor to her practice. When she's not working on clients, she's enjoys reading, travel, art and her dog.
Julie Merrill,
 PT, OCS, ATC, CMTPT

Julie Merrill possesses a wealth of knowledge and nearly 30 years experience caring for patients. She holds a bachelor's in physical therapy from the University of Vermont and numerous advanced credentials. She is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), certified athletic trainer (ATC) and certified myofascial trigger point therapist (CMTPT).

A long-time member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Julie joined the Women's Health section in 2011 and today offers pelvic health as one of her specialties, along with traditional PT and dry needling. When not helping patients, she's chasing her boys, enjoying the outdoors with friends and pretending to train for triathlons.

Teresa Arnold,
 LMT, CMT, MLD-C

Teresa Arnold practices a variety of massage techniques, including myofascial release, sports, orthopedic and oncology massage, as will as trigger point therapy. She has over two decades of experience helping clients regain function and flexibility, alleviate stress, recover from injury and simply relax.

Shoshana Sadow, 
M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.

Shoshana specializes in Acupuncture Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. With over 30 years experience, she has developed an integrative approach that combines Traditional Chinese Medicine and Japanese Meridian Therapy with micro-current techniques, trigger point release therapy and structural rehabilitation. She practices in both Anchorage (summers) and in Tucson (winters). 
Amy Koehn,
 Certified Rolfer, NSCA - CPT

Amy is a certified Rolfer ® trained at the Rolf Institute® in Boulder, Colorado, and holds a BS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Along with Rolfing, she is also a movement and functional fitness coach. After having dealt with chronic low back pain for years, she found out how powerful Rolfing Structural Integration and Movement can be with unwinding tension patterns in the body. She believes that client empowerment can be key in the healing process.     
​Amy’s passions include getting out into the great outdoors, being involved in running & triathlon events, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Amy’s newest interest is learning about the healing properties of Alaska’s plentiful bounty and harvesting it to make salves and tinctures.
